When introduced, the world praised the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport as as exlusive as they get – a sleek looking roadster that could hammer down the german Autobahn at over 400 km/h (250 mph). Seems like Bugatti’s answer to that must have been something like “Hold my beer!”. L’or blanc (engl. white gold) was introduced in 2011. The unicum was developed in collaboration with the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin and is probably the most incredible thing you will get to see today.

The exterior is finished in dark blue, streaked by interwoven white schemes that remind of light reflexions on a beautiful piece of Porcelain. It took Bugatti multiple weeks to polish the car to this point, but the hard work was well worth it. Even though it looks spectacular, the paint isn’t even what makes this car so special to a point that it is hard to put into words. 12 snow-white Porcelain components are included in the interior and exterior of the car. Among other they adorn the fuel cap, the wheel caps, the center console and the rear panel.

Some of the porcelain parts show the Bugatti Elephant by Rembrandt Bugatti, a famous animal sculptor. The figure was the catalyst for the whole project. Initially Bugatti had planned to simply produce a porcelain figure of the elephant and then sell it. Guess how that turned out – the car munufacturer ended up with building an entire supercar in collaboration with the Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin.
