When it comes to combining luxury and performance, this BMW refiner from Bavaria is at the very top of the food chain. The Alpina B8 Gran Coupé represents the latest model coming out of the small town of Buchloe and is powered by a 4.4 l V8. To underline Alpines focus on luxury, the B8 is not based on the regular BMW 8 – which is a 2 door Coupé – but on the Gran Coupé, a four door vehicle.
When you take a look at the interior of the car it might not seem like anything unusual. But if you carefully read the Design-part of the table below, you will be taught better. Alpina is the only car manufacturer using Lavalina Leather in their interior. In fact, Alpina is more or less the only application-case in which Lavalina Leather is used at all nowadays. The material is even more exclusive than what Rolls Royce or Maybach use in their vehicles and represents a very unique selling point of the brand that barley anyone knows.
Over all the Alpina B8 Gran Coupé is a pretty cool looking car. The Alpina Green paint featured on the car in the photos compliments it very well and goes perfectly with the light coloured interior option chosen for this model. Also the signature rims, with this timeless design, look absolutely gorgeous on the new B8.
